Key Features

The Bureau of Customs has mandated and implemented Customs Administrative Order (CAO) No. 9-2019, which states that off-dock and off-terminal accredited CFWs shall use Inventory Management System or IMS that provides real time and accurate information on the status of goods received, stored, and withdrawn from these facilities. This system is developed by eScience, which features:

Automated Cargo Stripping until Releasing

System-Generated Billing Invoice

CS Access to Container and Cargo Details

Consignees and Brokers Portal

Billing and Cashier Online Approval

Online Dashboard and Reports

Key Benefits

  • Interactive dashboard
  • IMS provides a dashboard that contains data and summary information to view trends. This allows you take proactive decisions with ease, as it highlights all the statistics needed for your decision-making process.

  • Real-time, Transparent, and Accurate Reports
  • The ease of access to real-time reports on released, unreleased cargos has enabled a more accurate auditing process for your company. Now you can be 100% sure that all cargo status is up with E2M data and physically tagged photos which will help avoid any mistakes or discrepancies in releases later down the line!

  • Full Overview of Cargo Operations
  • The IMS system provides a full suite of services that monitor and track the warehouse process from container arrival, stripping, releasing to departure. IMS inserts itself into every stage in order to provide real-time data on everything happening within your facility - this is what it means when you say, "full visibility." With all these intricate details at our disposal we are able not only optimize efficiency but also ensure complete customer satisfaction by monitoring inventory levels closely enough so as soon notice any trends or issues before they become big problems.

  • E2M Integration
  • The new IMS system will have a huge impact on how encoded manifests are handled. Instead of encoding manifest details by hand, employees can simply enter them into the application and let it do all work for them!

  • Save on Cost and Time, and Increase in Revenue
  • Warehouse staff can automatically generate in real-time all reports that are needed for cargo release, increasing transparency and accountability. Since the system tracks everything about each shipment from origin to destination there's no need paper-based workarounds or manual operations which saves tons on annually worth$ billions! This means more revenue because now warehouses only accommodate containers filled with valuable goods instead of wasting space storing unloading them when they're not being used - plus you have peace knowing your assets stay safe while traveling across countrysides.

Use Case

IMS was first released in 2018 with the the pioneering project implemented at Goldwin CFS, a bonded warehouse in the Philippines with branches in Manila, Cebu, and Davao. Using IMS, Goldwin CFS was able to transition from a manual paper-based system to an automated process from container arrival, stripping, cargo labelling, billing up to releasing of cargo and even customer service. Aside from these, the consignee portal allowed the consignees of Goldwin check their cargo status without having to call customer service.

IMS has completely eliminated the tedious paperwork, manual process, delays, and errors in cargo releases of Goldwin. Since IMS provides a comprehensive and systematic process which also encourage collaboration between departments, their warehousing services has become more efficient, cutting down the time spent on manual system, boosting their sales and revenue in no time.
